In addition to having a high school diploma (or equivalent), candidates for the CWNA track should have a basic understanding of a Microsoft Windows operating system (either Windows 2000 or Windows XP), basic knowledge of networking (as exhibited in Net+, CCNA®, CNA, or MCP). Prior experience with wireless networking components is recommended, but not required.
