The University of Louisville Medical Coding Certificate program trains students to code health care data. You’ll learn how to decipher health records and abstract the information necessary to correctly code patient files. During the program, you’ll learn medical terminology, medical ethics and the skills required to sit for the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Certified Coding Associate (CCA) certification exam.
